1.- What is the seating capacity of your motor coaches?

We have three different size coaches. Our transit buses seat 39 passengers and are equipped with a low-profile wheelchair/scooter lift. Our other motor coaches come equipped with both 49 and 56 seats depending on your size group.

2.- What about the dates and times of travel?

The customer will need to provide E-Z Bus with the dates and times of travel. Flexible dates and times will be beneficial as discounted rates can be applied.

3.- What about the pick up location & destination?

It is very important to know the exact location and address where you would like your group to be picked up and dropped off.

4.- Do I need to supply parking for the bus?

The customer is responsible for secure and sufficient parking of the coach at the destination location(s). The customer is also responsible for any charges associated with the parking of the motor coach.

5.- How many hours can I use the bus?

They are permitted 10 hours of driving time and 15 hours of on duty status within each 24 hour period. This is in compliance with Department of Transportation hours of service rules and regulations.

6.- Do your coaches have video or DVD players?

Our buses are equipped with DVD and monitors to play movies, shows, and documentaries. The buses are also equipped with PA systems for tour guiding or providing instructions to the group.

7.- Do your coaches have restrooms?

All of our over the road buses are equipped with a restroom. It should be used for emergencies only to avoid people standing and moving around the coach while in motion. Drivers will stop every 2 hours at facilities to allow passengers to use the restroom should your trip include multiple driving hours from pick up location to destination.

8.- What about wheelchairs and scooters?

We provide handicap access transit buses. These are specially equipped buses with low floor ramps for ease of loading and unloading both wheelchairs and scooters. E-Z Bus will need to be made aware of these special arrangements in advance of your trip.

9.- What are the insurance requirements for Motor Coach Operators?

Our buses are insured with the 5 million dollar coverage required by the Department of Transportation for interstate travel. Buses that do not travel across state lines (intrastate) have an insurance requirement of 1 million dollars. At your request we can notify our insurance company to issue you or your organization a certificate of insurance indicating our specific policy information.

10.- Can I use the bus once I reach the destination point?

The bus can be used based on the driver's hour of service regulation. They are permitted 10 hours of driving time and 15 hours of on duty status within each 24 hour period. This is in compliance with Department of Transportation hours of service rules and regulations.

11.- What experience do your motor coach drivers have?

Our drivers need to meet a minimum 2 years of prior passenger driving experience before they are considered for a driving position. Our insurance company verifies this prior experience while checking each driver's CDL and driving record.

12.- Can drinks and snacks be brought inside the bus?

A cooler provided by you with drinks and snacks can be brought into the bus with previous approval by our sales staff and dispatch office. Alcoholic beverages will also need to be approved by our office and will require a “cleaning” deposit. No underage drinking is ever allowed. NO SMOKING is ever allowed in our buses.

13.- How does the gratuity for the driver work?

Driver gratuity is not included in the price quote that you have received unless requested by you. We allow our customers to recognize the drivers performance based on the service(s) given. This transaction can take place between you, the client and the driver directly. If you are not sure what an ample gratuity is for your particular service please feel free to ask our sales staff. Some of the more common gratuities for services include: Local Charter - $10 for every 4 hours worked; Airport with Luggage - $40 per trip; Out of State Charter - $2 per person per day.

14.- What do I do if I have a problem?

Our dispatch office is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Dial our regular office number, 407-857-1007, and follow the prompts to reach dispatch.

15.- Can I request a specific driver?

Please notify your sales agent if you would like to request a specific driver. We can not guarantee that diver will be available during your dates and times of travel, but if they are we will make every effort to assign them to your services.
