E-Z Bus, in an effort to join the Go Green bandwagon, has made changes to its office procedures and has invested in equipment with the latest clean air engines.

As we transition into this new era, we are revising and implementing procedures to migrate to a paperless environment in our office. We are updating our technology to allow for electronic faxing and electronic document storage thereby reducing the consumption of paper. We are also investing in technology that allows our employees to work seamlessly from remote locations to reduce commuting and its effects on our environment. With this in mind we have moved our office to a newer building with large windows that allow daylight to come in and that accommodates our essential needs, thereby reducing electric consumption and wasted resources.

Our new MCI and Setra brand motor coaches are equipped with the latest "clean air" technology available to the market today. In addition to being mandated by the U.S. government, its use helps maintain a cleaner environment for all us. These coaches have a diesel particulate filter (DPF). The DPF is a porous ceramic filter housed in a stainless steel chamber. As the exhaust flows through this filter, emission products are burned and converted to ash. A self cleaning function, called regeneration, is used to keep the DPF functioning properly.
